Who Is It For?
Holders of the BPS RQTU Assistant Test User, Test User Occupational Ability
and Occupational Personality qualifications are
typically HR professionals, HR consultants or recruiters in employment agencies
although line managers also enhance their skills with this qualification.
Uniquely, however, this programme includes the skills of in-depth job analysis, behavioural interviewing and the development and use of multiple assessment techniques such as assessment/development centres.

The distinction between measures of general and specific ability, personality traits and personality type.
Statistical principles of making comparisons between candidates
Key characteristics of psychometric tests and questionnaires: their reliability and validity
Practical interpretation of test, questionnaire and simulation exercise results
Providing oral and written feedback of test scores, personality data and their meaning
Understanding job analysis and competency profiling
Constructing and delivering highly focused and effective behavioural interviews
Analysis of tests, questionnaires, group exercises and other simulations: their technical properties and suitability
